Native & indigenous- What's the difference?

Australia is an enormous continent, with a broad range of ecosystems- from deserts to rainforests. Native plants are those that come from anywhere in the continent of australia.
Indigenous plants are those that occur naturally within a given area.

For revegetation, indigenous plants are used, whilst other more specialist projects may require native plants.
Our team source the best high quality seed, of local provenance for your revegetation project.

Plant formats

Magpie ecology provide plants in a range of sizes and formats, depending on the species, and the job.
We supply plants in tubestock, 40 cell hiko tray, 50cc wetland pot and 6-inch pots.
